The opportunity
Help shape how our people systems work.
Reporting to the People & Culture Reporting & Systems Lead, the People Systems & Reporting Specialist plays a key role in supporting, configuring and continuously improving Workday and our broader HR systems. You’ll help ensure our systems, processes and people data are reliable, effective and continue to evolve with the needs of our people and the organisation.
Working across systems, data and reporting, you’ll partner with People & Culture and other teams to deliver system enhancements, improve the user experience and provide meaningful reporting that supports informed decision-making.
If you enjoy solving system challenges, finding better ways of working and using technology and data to make a practical difference, this is an opportunity to have a visible impact across People & Culture.
About the role
In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate, timely and insightful people reporting, while also supporting and enhancing our HR systems and survey capabilities.
You will:
- Configure, maintain and continuously improve Workday and other HR systems to support evolving business requirements and effective P&C processes.
- Undertake system and user acceptance testing for HR system enhancements, releases and configuration changes, identifying issues and supporting successful deployment.
- Maintain system security, roles and permissions, ensuring appropriate access across P&C systems.
- Maintain the accuracy, completeness and integrity of employee and workforce data across Workday and other HR systems.
- Develop and maintain Workday reports, dashboards and people analytics to support P&C and business decision-making.
- Provide system guidance, training and support to the P&C team, helping users get the most from Workday and other P&C technology.
- Support broader P&C reporting requirements, including regular leadership and Board reporting, employee surveys and regulatory reporting such as WGEA.
What you’ll bring
You’re someone who is both analytical and collaborative, comfortable working with complex data, and equally confident explaining what it means.
We’re looking for:
- Workday / HRIS experience – demonstrated hands-on experience administering and configuring Workday or a comparable enterprise HRIS, including business processes, system configuration and release management.
- Strong systems mindset – able to troubleshoot issues, understand system processes and integrations, and identify opportunities to improve usability, automation and self-service.
- Data and reporting capability – confident maintaining high-quality HR data and developing reports and dashboards that turn workforce data into valuable insights.
- Problem-solving skills – a practical and analytical approach to diagnosing system, integration and data issues and working through solutions.
- Strong stakeholder skills – able to present findings and work effectively with cross‑functional stakeholders.
Why this role
This is a role with real influence. Your work will support strategic decisions, inform leadership conversations, and help shape how we understand and improve the employee experience. You’ll also have the opportunity to continuously improve systems and processes, leaving things better than you found them.
