Job Description

Mattel ANZ are seeking a proactive and highly organised Sales Coordinator to join our Sales team in New Zealand! In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the sales team to achieve business objectives through efficient sales operations, commercial reporting and inventory support.

The successful candidate will bring strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to delivering outstanding customer and business outcomes. As a Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for: 

  • Coordinating day-to-day sales operations, including promotional submissions, retailer communications, account administration and maintaining sales tracking tools.
  • Preparing and analysing sales and inventory reports, identifying trends and opportunities, and supporting forecasting and planning activities.
  • Supporting the Account Management team and Sales Leadership with reporting, documentation, presentations and operational activities to drive commercial success.
  • Coordinating promotional events, customer presentations, trade shows and the management of product samples.
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders while providing high-quality administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the Sales team.

Qualifications

  • Experience in sales operations, sales administration or a similar commercial support role.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, with experience working with sales, inventory or reporting data.
  • Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a collaborative approach to working across teams.
  • A proactive attitude, high attention to detail and a desire to continuously improve processes and support business performance.
