Mattel Technology & Innovation Center (MTIC) Hyderabad is seeking an experienced IT Senior Analyst – Network Services with 5-8 years of progressive experience to play a key role in designing, implementing, optimizing, and supporting enterprise-grade network infrastructure. This senior position is responsible for ensuring high availability, security, and performance of Mattel’s global network environment, including wired, wireless, load balancing, and WAN services.

The role includes 24x5 weekend on-call support (rotational) and requires a proactive, solution-oriented professional who can mentor junior team members and handle complex network issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, deployment, configuration, and optimization of enterprise network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and WAN connectivity.
  • Manage and support enterprise wireless environments, including wireless controllers, access points, RF optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Administer and troubleshoot F5 BIG-IP load balancers, including VIP creation, SSL offloading, certificate management, and traffic optimization.
  • Manage end-to-end circuit lifecycle activities, including provisioning, upgrades, troubleshooting, and coordination with ISPs and global carriers.
  • Support and oversee structured cabling (copper and fiber) projects and physical network infrastructure enhancements.
  • Perform network monitoring, capacity planning, performance analysis, and reporting using enterprise monitoring and diagnostic tools.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex network incidents and perform root cause analysis to drive permanent resolutions.
  • Collaborate with L3 engineers, vendors, and cross-functional teams on critical incidents, escalations, and infrastructure projects.
  • Support SD-WAN operations, cloud connectivity, network modernization, and automation initiatives.
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to knowledge sharing, process improvement, and operational excellence.
  • Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, configurations, SOPs, and operational runbooks.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational security standards, policies, and industry best practices.
  • Participate in a 24x5 support model with rotational weekend on-call support, including after-hours maintenance and major incident response activities.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in Network Operations/Support in a large enterprise or global GCC environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, or equivalent.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Expert knowledge of Cisco/Arista Switching & Routing (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, QoS, STP, VSS, EtherChannel).
    • Strong experience with Enterprise Wireless Networks, Wireless Controllers, Access Points, FlexConnect, and Local Mode deployments.
    • Hands-on expertise with F5 BIG-IP administration, VIP creation, SSL offloading, certificate management, and troubleshooting.
    • Experience with network monitoring, performance analysis, and reporting using enterprise monitoring tools.
    • Proven experience in circuit provisioning, ISP/carrier coordination, and vendor management.
    • Strong understanding of incident, problem, and change management, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
    • Skilled in analyzing packet captures, network logs, and performance metrics to troubleshoot complex issues.
    • Experience with ServiceNow, CMDB, network documentation, and inventory management.
    • Hands-on experience with SD-WAN operations, including overlays, tunnels, routing policies, and site connectivity troubleshooting.
  • Certifications (Preferred): CCNP, CCNA, F5 Certified Technology Specialist / Administrator, CWNP/CWNA, or equivalent.

Additional Requirements

  • Deep understanding of TCP/IP, SDN concepts, Network Automation (Python/Ansible – added advantage), and security best practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with global teams across time zones.
  • Familiarity with cloud networking concepts (AWS/Azure) and hybrid network connectivity is an added advantage.
  • Willingness to provide 24x5 weekend on-call support on a rotational basis.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
