Job Description

The Opportunity: 

The purpose of this position is to support local commercial execution for an assigned portfolio, ensuring global and regional plans are effectively delivered in market. The role executes events, partnerships, and retail activation to drive in-market performance, while supporting sales priorities and tracking performance within established frameworks.

What Your Impact Will Be: 

Market Execution & Activation:

  • Execute key brand events, ensuring delivery aligns with brand and commercial objectives.
  • Execute PR partnerships and creator-led programs in line with defined plans.
  • Support localisation and implementation of global and regional plans across events, partnerships, and activations.
  • Maintain high standards of execution across consumer and retail touchpoints.

Sales & Retail Partnership:

  • Support local retail pitches in partnership with Sales and Trade Marketing, contributing to executional plans and materials. 
  •   Align execution of events, partnerships, and activations to retailer and channel priorities. 
  •  Partner with local Sales teams to support delivery of retailer activation and customer plans.

Performance Tracking & Optimization:

  • Track local performance across events, PR partnerships, creator programs, and retail activation.
  • Monitor execution against plans and highlight risks and opportunities.
  • Apply learnings to support continuous improvement of execution and outcomes.

Planning & Delivery:

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams across Commercial, Sales, and Trade Marketing to support execution.
  • Ensure alignment across teams for delivery of key initiatives.
  • Raise local insights and trends related to competitive execution and retail dynamics.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Minimum 5+ years of commercial, brand, trade, or sales strategy experience
  • Demonstrated ownership of a market, segment, or major initiative.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business, Marketing or related field
  • Business ownership mindset.
  • Strong analytical capability and data-driven decision making.
  • Ability to operate within defined strategic frameworks.
  • Cross-functional collaboration.
  • Performance tracking and problem-solving capability.

What We Offer: 

  • Gross annual salary range of GBP 57,040 - GBP 67,735
  • Bonus scheme: Participation in Mattel Incentive Plan (MIP)/Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) with the target of 10% of base salary, payout is determined by company and individual performance results
