The Sr. Web Designer provides engaging digital facing websites, apps and an online presence. This role will bring web form and functionality insight and deliver web solutions through interface design, content organization and prioritization that connects with our audience.

• Work closely with the Digital Director and Creative Director to design/develop an effective online presence, implementing digital interactives, internal and external facing online sites, functionality and experiences for Mariners Church and ministries.
• Collaborate with ministries and programs internally to maximize effectiveness and impact.
• Deliver compelling web interface and functionality on brand and effectively solving ministry needs.
• Download web and app ministry requirements for web and app project design and development.
• Collaborates with design, video, writing, social media and comms teams well.
• Manages, recruits, and trains web developers and designer volunteers.
• Supervise projects to ensure deadlines are met, deliverables are on time and with quality.
• Coordinate development and design project schedules with ministries and vendors.
• Can discern and facilitate the difference between creative conversations and client interactions
• Resourceful and fluid with ability to serve multiple clients.
• Ability to code/create front-end design, CSS, latest web technologies to meet requirements.
• Test, report, debug website, app, and related online tools and identify and fix technical problems.
• Upload the site onto a server and register it with different search engines.

• Minimum 3 years experience in web design with a solid portfolio.
• Fast and proficient in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other visual design tools. Excellent visual design skills.
• Proficiency in front-end development web programming languages such as HTML and CSS, 
•  JQuery, and JavaScript.
• Up-to-date experience with international web protocols, standards, and technologies.
• Creative and open to new ideas. Adaptable and willing to learn new techniques.
• Ability to take design feedback & constructive criticism and incorporate it quickly.
• Ability to multitask and create high quality work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem solving, communication, organization, discernment, and emotional intelligence skills
