Job Description

Help build a more inclusive, equitable and supportive organisation - where everyone can thrive.

You’ll join Marie Curie’s Talent and Development team - the team playing a critical role in shaping culture, building capability and ensuring people in our organisation feel supported, valued and empowered in their roles. Working closely with HR Business Partners, Internal Communications, Employee Networks and leaders across the charity, the team is driving forward a people agenda that puts inclusion, wellbeing and belonging at its core.

  • Lead on equality impact assessments, ensuring changes to policies, services and programmes are inclusive and equitable.

  • Develop and implement a data-driven approach, using diversity data, insights and reporting to track progress and inform action.

  • Coach and support employee networks, enabling them to play an active role in shaping culture and driving inclusion.

  • Collaborate across teams (HR, Talent Acquisition, Internal Communications) to embed EDI throughout the employee lifecycle.

  • Promote awareness and engagement, including coordinating campaigns, events and communications that celebrate diversity and prioritise wellbeing.

Key Criteria

  • Established experience in equity, diversity, inclusion and/or wellbeing, with a clear passion for driving positive change.

  • In-depth understanding of EDI best practice, relevant legislation (e.g. Equality Act 2010) and current challenges.

  • Proven ability to influence, engage and build relationships across a wide range of stakeholders.

  • Experience in designing and delivering training, programmes or organisational initiatives.

  • Experience using data and insights to inform decision-making and measure impact.

  • Excellent communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills
