Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Field Service Technician to join our team in San Francisco. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various equipment at customer sites, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

  • Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment, HVAC systems, or relevant technology
  • Conduct thorough diagnostic tests to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently
  • Provide clear explanations and instructions to customers regarding equipment operation and maintenance
  • Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and parts used
  • Manage time effectively to meet service level agreements and customer expectations
  • Collaborate with the technical support team to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Adhere to safety protocols and company procedures at all times
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Electronics, Engineering Technology, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in field service or a related technical role
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently
  • Knowledge of industrial equipment, HVAC systems, or relevant technology
  • Relevant technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) preferred
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Willingness to travel within the San Francisco area
