Job Description

What You'll Do

The Fleet Operations Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the Marine Operations Department.  This extends to vessel maintenance, crewing and compliance to company and legislative requirements pertinent to the operation and the vessels. The Fleet Operations Manager is the Designated Person Ashore (DPA).  This position is based in our head office in Cairns.

What You'll Bring

  • At least 5 years in a similar role.
  • Technical background in marine operations.
  • Experience with implementation and administration of ISM/SMS, ISPS and as DPA and CSO
  • Crew management and rostering.
  • Management of vessel maintenance, refit, and survey compliance.
  • Workplace Health and Safety Compliance.
  • Ability to set and work within allocated budgets
  • Strong time management and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to sail on ships and attendance of turnarounds if required.
