What You'll Do
As a Data and Systems Administrator you will be responsible for maintaining all Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash & GL related Configurations and Master Data in NetSuite and Oracle E-business Suite and provide administration and analytical support to the Financial Operations Office to ensure data governance. You will also provide advice and support services to all teams across the organisation to ensure compliance with systems, processes and policies relating to buying activities, member relations and work closely within the different function of the business and finance team not limited to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, Financial Control, Procurement and the Technology.
This is a 12-month maximum term contract opportunity with a hybrid work arrangement, for you to work across our Sydney Olympic Parks and Sydney CBD offices, with some work from home.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Manage and maintain accurate and secure master data in NetSuite, including Supplier and Customer Master Data, Delegations of Authority, and system tables.
- Ensure compliance with data governance processes and policies relating to Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, and GL configurations.
- Regularly review all master data records for quality and up-to-date information.
- Own and maintain the Finance Process Library for Master Data and related processes.
- Recommend and document data usage, procedures, standards, and maintain business metadata repositories.
- Identify and resolve data issues, risks, and breaches, supporting stakeholders with remediation activities.
- Develop and align enterprise data dictionaries and business glossaries.
- Promote data quality, security, and consistent usage within the business unit.
- Deliver secure and appropriate supplier and customer onboarding.
- Build effective working relationships with buyers and system users to deliver high-quality support.
- Prepare monthly service level, PO compliance, and credit card compliance reports.
- Recommend and implement improvements to systems and processes that support Master Data Management.
- Support upgrades, enhancements, and developments of financial systems.
- Develop functional specifications in collaboration with technical resources.
What You'll Bring
- Tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, or analytics
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Finance Operations or Shared Services
- NetSuite Cloud proficiency and experience managing Finance, Procurement, and Fixed Assets
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, Word, data, and analytics
- Detailed knowledge of accounting and financial processes, including supplier and customer onboarding.
- In-depth understanding of purchasing, accounts payable policies, data governance, and business information systems
- Strong service support, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Experience in finance process improvement and stakeholder communication
- Ability to work autonomously, manage changing priorities, and deliver accurate results within deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- General knowledge of statutory obligations (sales, tax, GST) and awareness of IT opportunities in purchasing and contractual buying.
