Hat Head Holiday Park is set between the stunning river and beach on the Macleay Valley Coast, an easy 30 minutes from Kempsey.  This is an increasingly busy park, and offers powered and unpowered sites, cabins, playground, kiosk and more.

Job Description

Commencing 01 July 2025, this is a 2 year contract management position. 

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will have a commitment to providing strong leadership and a customer-centric, hands-on approach. We welcome a couple with fresh eyes, energy and enthusiasm - a willingness to learn and drive a guest focused park, to make a difference, will be key to your success.  As Park Manager’s you are required to live on site.  Accommodation and utilities are provided for as part of your total remuneration package.

Management teams must either possess or be prepared to trade as a Proprietary Limited Company (PTY LTD) and have their own ABN.  In addition, management teams will need to demonstrate capacity to purchase plant and equipment (if you do not already have this).  Management teams can expect to earn base income, plus the opportunity to earn additional income through ventures you may choose to operate onsite.  Training will be provided at our Coolangatta Support Office and onsite prior to commencement.

  • Engage and manage employees
  • Ensure top class, guest experience as your priority
  • Manage all areas of park operations
  • A suitable level of fitness with a flexible approach to workloads and a can-do attitude.
  • Managing financials (budgets & planning) with a refined sense of commercial acumen
  • Leading by example ensuring efficient management practices are employed, maintaining compliance with safety and statutory standards

What you’ll bring 

A successful management team will consider themselves confident, 'all-rounders' and have complementing skills to ensure they can effectively deal with the various challenges faced in a very busy holiday park environment. This varied role will see you, build and maintain successful relationships with employees, guests and key stakeholders.

  • Current valid Drivers Licence - essential
  • Current First Aid and CPR - essential
  • Current WWCC – essential

We offer competitive contract terms and ongoing support from our Operations staff who will induct you to our company and methodologies. We also provide continued support and guidance for our managers in such areas as marketing, finance, IT, caravan park legislation and safety.
