Job Description

Join NRMA as the Senior Manager of the Technical Support Unit, overseeing the National Training Group (NTG) for the Roadside Assistance Strategic Operations (RASO) group, and supporting Australia’s leading motoring clubs.

About the Role

As the Senior Manager of the National Technical Support Unit (NTSU), your primary responsibility will be to execute the NTSU strategy in alignment with the NTSU Charter. This role ensures that Roadside Patrols and Towing teams have access to up-to-date technical information, supporting Australia’s leading motoring clubs. Additionally, you will lead the National Training Group (NTG) on behalf of the Roadside Assistance Strategic Operations (RASO) group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and delivery of the NTSU (National Technical Support Unit) strategy in line with the NTSU Charter.
  • Manage a skilled team and foster partnerships with vehicle OEMs and industry bodies.
  • Ensure our roadside teams have access to the latest technical information.
  • Drive strategic research and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee financial performance, compliance, and operational excellence.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop teams in a dynamic environment.
  • A technical background is preferred but not essential.
  • Strategic thinking and pragmatic problem-solving, delivering real-world solutions.
  • Extensive senior management experience within a customer service-focused environment.
  • Strong business and commercial acumen, including financial and data analysis skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with executives.
  • Tertiary qualifications in management, business, finance, or a related discipline.
  • Resilience and adaptability in a transformational landscape.
