Job Description

We have a great 12 month maximum term opportunity to join our People Support team within our broader People & Culture division. Hybrid working with 2-3 days in the office. 

You would be responsible for providing high level delivery of people support activities including administration, recruitment and selection, reporting, projects and support / advice to managers on all aspects of human resources to the NRMA Group of businesses.

Some of the tasks you will be responsible for include to:

  • Prepare and manage new starter / onboarding paperwork including: letters of offer, employment contracts and all onboarding documents
  • Review and check returned new starter documentation to ensure compliance
  • Prepare all people letters/documents as required
  • Prepare position descriptions and contract templates
  • Create, manage and resolve (internal and external) support tickets via People Support (JIRA)
  • Support the letter production of annual group incentive and remuneration review cycles
  • Provide policy advice and award interpretation
  • Respond to general employee enquires
  • Coaching and guiding staff on our (HRIS) system
  • Support the implementation of change, initiatives, and strategies to support business objectives

Qualifications

Essential

  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience in People Administration
  • Ability to work autonomously both in a hybrid work environment
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Office 365 applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail skills and ability to follow up stakeholders
  • High degree of organisational skills, time management and task prioritisation
  • Demonstrated ability to work positively and effectively in a team environment both in a hybrid work environment
  • Strong customer service skills and understanding of ticketing systems
  • High level of interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with a wide range of people
  • Delivers outcomes in alignment with Company Values and Culture Playbook

Desirable

  • Minimum one (1) year experience in Talent Acquisition/HR
  • Formal qualifications in Human Resources preferred but not essential
  • Working knowledge of DayForce
