Job Description

  • Support the accurate valuation of investment funds by reviewing and reconciling cash balances, investment positions, dividend income, interest income, and other fund activity.
  • Review client transactions, corporate actions (such as stock splits and mergers), and market prices to help ensure investment portfolios are valued accurately.
  • Investigate and resolve differences between fund records and information received from custodians, brokers, and other counterparties.
  • Verify the pricing of a range of financial instruments, including shares, bonds, futures, options, and derivative products, using market data sources such as Bloomberg and ICE.
  • Assist with the onboarding of new clients and contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes and technology solutions.
  • Deliver high-quality service to internal and external clients by responding to queries promptly, meeting agreed service standards, and building strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Develop expertise in fund operations, financial markets, and investment products while building a foundation for future career growth and advancement within the organization.

 

Qualifications

  • University degree in Computer Science, Math, Finance, Accounting or an equivalent combination of education.
  • One to two years of experience in accounting, audit, financial services, or similar field will be considered relevant. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the investor services, fund administration, or asset management industries.
  • Understanding of securities such as equities, bonds, forwards, futures, options & OTC derivatives.
  • Microsoft applications in general, and advanced Excel knowledge; comfortable with pivot table and functions e.g. TEXT, LOOKUP, MATH
  • Intermediate knowledge of VBA, SQL or any programming knowledge would be an advantage.
