Job Description

Role Purpose

The Business Development Director – South is accountable for acquiring new OEM logos and unlocking green space across the South territory.

This role is not responsible for renewals or long-term account governance.

Scope & Coverage

- Owns a defined target OEM list for South territory.

- Leads opportunities across key MSX domains.

- Works closely with Value Stream leaders and SMEs.

Key Accountabilities

- Build executive access & credibility.

- Generate and qualify pipeline.

- Shape and win pilots / first deals.

- Negotiate and close with discipline.

Responsibilities (Day-to-day)

- Develop territory/OEM acquisition plans.

- Run discovery workshops and quantify value cases.

- Maintain CRM hygiene.

- Coordinate bid teams and executive briefings.

- Maintain competitive intelligence.

- Attend industry events, forums, and roundtables.

Key Interfaces

- Regional Sales Director, NA

- Value Stream / Delivery Leaders

- Sales Enablement & Deal Desk

- Finance, Legal, HR, Ops Leadership

Qualifications

Candidate Profile (Required)

- 15+ years in consultative B2B sales/business development.

- OEM experience with Nissan or Mercedes-Benz.

- Complex deal capability.

- Executive presence and strong persuasion skills.

- CRM proficiency and analytical capability.

- Willingness to travel extensively.

Preferred Qualifications

- MBA (nice to have).

- Sales methodology training.

- Existing network within South OEM ecosystem.
