Company Description
The Field Sales Manager is directly responsible for the management of the sales support in selling of products to all distributors across Southern Africa, Middle East and Sub-Saharan Africa. The successful incumbent will have product knowledge relevant to extended warranty, maintenance and service plans. The Field Sales Manager will also be responsible for managing and assigning in-house training as well as on-site dealer training and support where required.

Job Description
- Ability to travel to the Middle Eastern, Sub-Saharan Africa, and North African Regional for product training and support to distributors.
- Support the development of the local business management function in alignment with the regional strategy
- Assist the local Business Management Manager to implement, administer and support the Business Management system
- Collect financial data from dealers
- Analyse dealer data quality and provide coaching to accountants to improve the quality of financial reporting
- Support dealers in developing their Chart of Accountant and other accounting-relevant topics
- Map dealers Chart of Account to Business Management system Chart of Account and ensure the ongoing quality of this mapping
- Upload dealers financial data to Business Management system
- Calculate Benchmark and network consolidations
- Prepare and communicate monthly dealers BM reports
- Analyse BM reports and provide comments
- Produce Monthly and Quarterly Network Performance reports and commentaries
- Prepare Ad-hoc reports when required
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Matric / N3 Certificate
- Tertiary Sales Qualification and/or Certification desirable
- In possession of RE1 and RE5 certification
- Valid driver’s license
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
- 5 -8 years’ experience in selling Finance and Insurance products - under supervision if not yet FAIS accredited
- 5 -8 years of Account Management experience within the Short-term Insurance and Automotive Industries
- Automotive industry-specific product knowledge and application is a must
- Solid knowledge of the operational requirements within the Finance and Insurance Industry
- Solid understanding of the review process with regard to the generation of 2nd gross income within the Finance and Insurance Industry
- Firm understanding of the South Africa Short Term Insurance Regulatory Framework and related legislations.
