Job Description
This position will play a key role in the day to day business support for our Global Partnerships business, reporting to Manager of FP&A, and working within the FP&A group of the Finance department. This entails building relationships with the administrative, operational, and strategy teams in this business group, with a focus on contractual revenue and expense analysis. Additionally, this position will play a key role in collaborating with the business group in developing full-year forecasts, yearly budgets, and long-term strategic plans.
- Support the Global Partnership group with tracking, analyzing, and understanding key business results and metrics, helping the leadership team with decision-making based on the analysis provided.
- Act as a liaison between the business and the greater Finance department.
- Support and maintain monthly forecasts to provide timely and accurate reporting, upload forecasts to Oracle and reconcile to offline files.
- Support business leads and VP with the preparation of board and Executive reporting.
- Work closely with the accounting team to understand the monthly and YTD variances compared to the budget.
- Provide monthly financial analysis and reporting along with any project-driven analytical support required directly to the VP of the supported business.
- Work with business groups to develop annual business plans, upload them to Oracle, reconcile them to offline files, and compare and analyze prior year data and forecasts.
- Aid in GL and other data reconciliations as required.
- Participate in special projects and perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications

- A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Post graduate degree or diploma preferably in a business-related discipline.
- Proven skills in financial analysis and reporting.
- Working towards CPA program preferred.
- Experience working in a similar role within an FP&A business would be an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to create business and strategic plans.
- Applied knowledge of Oracle accounting and reporting software would be an asset.
- Exceptional understanding of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently, particularly important while working mobile.
- A knack for grasping and assessing details while maintaining a big-picture mentality.
- Exceptional people, presentation, and communication skills.
- Preference for a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
