Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE) one of the world's premier sports and entertainment companies, owns the Toronto Maple Leafs (NHL), Toronto Raptors (NBA), Toronto FC (MLS), Toronto Argonauts (CFL), Toronto Marlies (AHL), Raptors 905 (NBA D-League), TFC II (USL) and Raptors Uprising Gaming Club, the Toronto Raptors Esports franchise in the NBA 2K League. Its charitable arm, MLSE Foundation, focuses on funding initiatives to support youth through sport and recreational programs. Job Description

As a Brand Manager in our team, you will lead the development and execution of go-to-market plans across a brand portfolio. You will be an insight-driven marketer, who will bridge the world of business, creativity and technology. You will play a meaningful role in scaling opportunities locally, nationally and internally through tight-knit collaboration across internal teams. You can write a mean creative brief, can gracefully handle competing priorities, are quick to take action and adapt to a rapidly changing environment, and are motivated by data and results.

Once you are here you will

  • Develop and execute go-to-market plans for a variety of initiatives.
  • Oxygenate the creative process by iterating on value proposition of old offers and developing new ideas that resonate with our fans and propel our business forward.
  • Balance multiple business and brand objectives centered on creating a world-class brand that drives revenue through ticketing, retail, F&B and sponsorships.
  • Drive awareness and meaning by leading 360° campaigns all the ways from strategy to execution.
  • Work with our business intelligence team to deliver ongoing campaign performance updates and associated impact to inform the health of our business.
  • Lead a team of 2-3 marketing professionals to ensure they are successful in their everyday work and career trajectory.
  • Work with the director of marketing on specialty projects as they relate to your brand portfolio.

Qualifications

  • 8-10 years strategic marketing experience in a high-consideration product marketing role with campaign development experience
  • Hyper aware of cultural and category trends
  • Ability to think at 50,000 ft, and dive down quickly into all the details to make it real
  • Ability to assess the impact of various media channels and optimize to achieve campaign results
  • Perform well under pressure while never losing sight of the end goal
  • Comfortable in front of a crowd, and able to create and sell a story to bring others along
  • Quick on your feet, highly adaptive and proactive
  • Winning attitude essential; self-starter with insatiable curiosity
  • Hyper analytical, comfortable using data to drive marketing recommendations and report impact
