Job Description
Mission:
As a Digital Marketing Specialist at Makro Portugal, you will play a key role in driving the company's online presence and enhancing its digital marketing strategies. You will be responsible for developing and executing digital campaigns, optimizing digital channels, and analyzing performance metrics to ensure maximum visibility and engagement.
Responsabilities:
- Plan, execute, and optimize digital marketing campaigns across various platforms (including social media, email, website, and paid advertising) garunteing alignment with overall business and commercial goals;
- Collaborate with external agencies (such as creative, performance, influencer marketing, content) ensuring marketing initiatives are aligned with makro's strategic direction, fostering cohesive and impactful marketing initiatives;
- Manage Makro Portugal's social media through an agency garunteing engaging content for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Youtube;
- Implement strategies to drive community engagement, enhance brand visibility, and support overall marketing objectives;
- Develop and execute email marketing campaigns to nurture leads, promote offers, and drive customer engagement;
- Segment email lists and analyze campaign performance metrics to optimize future campaigns;
- Utilize web analytics tools (such as Google Analytics GA4) to track digital marketing performance and generate regular reports;
- Identify trends and insights to optimize campaign strategies and improve ROI;
- Organising and participating in local events and workshops, fostering community engagement and brand presence;
- Collaborating closely with the global team to ensure local initiatives align with global business objectives;
- Envolve and ensure alignement with key internal stakeholders (Offer, Communication, People & Culture, Stores, Sales) to maximize marketing campaigns impact on customers;
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to integrate marketing initiatives with broader business objectives and customer-centric strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Management, Communication;
- Previous experience in similar activities in Digital Marketing, Brand Manager or Marketing Communication Specialist;
- Fluent in English is essential due to frequent interaction with international headquarters and boards;
- Previous experience in data analysis skills, with proficiency in Excel and PPT;
- Knowledge in Google Analytics (GA4) (mandatory);
- Strong mindset of continuous improvement and the ability to propose and implement innovative ideas.
