Job Description
- Manage & supervise METRO in-store QA activities ensuring process complying with METRO standards and local regulations, carry out statistical reporting, analysis and improve the compliance
- Check & strengthen the implementation of FSSC 22000 standard, Halal Standard and METRO Corporate Standards in store, act as a Food Safety Team Leader.
- Assurance of statutory and regulatory requirements under the domain of QA through coordination with relevant stake holders.
- Coordinate with the QA, Operations, Buying Department, Authority Agencies , other relevant people to plan and conduct training on food safety, quality & legality aspects
- Implementation of product monitoring program and labelling system
- Establish the relevant SOP/WI to ensure the compliance with company standards and national regulations
- Reduce losses due to quality issues in store in collaboration with operations & QA team by improving practices
- Handle customer complaint/ quality incident / crisis management: follow up and participate the process (crisis identification, customer complaint, product returned, product recall …) when being requested.
- Develop & implement the system for document & data control
- Conduct supplier development activities
Qualifications
- Bachelors/Masters degree Food Technology or related discipline
- At least 2-3 years of experience preferably in the same role
- Good knowledge in standards of food safety & quality management systems (FSSC/ BRC/ HACCP/ ISO etc.)
- Qualified as lead auditor/ working as internal auditor of one of systems mentioned
