Job Description

  • Daily scheduling submissions for purchase of customer consumption quantities in Retail in Nat. Gas and Power markets
  • Monitor daily schedules, resolve discrepancies, and coordinate with relevant market operators (e.g., HENEX, ADMIE, HEDNO, DESFA, ENAON) to ensure compliance
  • Assist in analyzing energy consumption and market trends to identify optimization opportunities
  • Collaborate with the team to provide actionable insights from customer data analysis to enhance portfolio performance
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of processes, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Communicate effectively with external parties, including market operators, counterparties, and regulatory bodies, to resolve scheduling issues and ensure alignment
  • Assist in the development of forecasting models, digital tools and applications to improve operational efficiency
  • Assist in the settlements process, monitor and validate transaction data to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly
  • Support the team in handling any procedures related to portfolio management transactions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics or Mathematics
  • Master’s degree in Economics or Energy would be considered a plus
  • Strong understanding of energy markets
  • Professional experience in Greek energy markets would be considered a plus
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools; Programming and database skills, preferably in Python and SQL is a plus
  • Communication Skills: Strong command of the English language
  • Detail-oriented and a structured and strategic approach to problem solving
  • Strong decision-making skills and ability to take initiative
  • Ability to manage dynamic project requirements and shifting priorities
  • Ability to collaborate with development and other teams
  • Analytical thinking and critical reasoning
