Qualifications

  • Tertiary education in a relevant discipline
  • Relevant experience in natural gas energy trading with a focus on structured products, cross-commodity and non-standard energy contracts preferably in the CEE region.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Proven track record of successful trading and portfolio management
  • Excellent understanding of risk management
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop junior team members, a plus
  • Experience using Endur a plus

Additional Information

  • Lead management of regional trading activities for standard and non-standard gas energy products, including customized power and gas contracts and structured deals
  • Design, structure and price complex energy contracts tailored to client needs and market conditions and further develop cross-commodity offerings
  • Prospect and identify leads and potential customers by liaising with originators and sales representatives across MET Group's other divisions
  • Conduct market analysis and price and risk assessments and act as a subject matter expert who can be relied upon by customers of MET Group
  • Ensure all transactions are within the risk framework and transactions are correctly recorded in the ETRM system
  • Manage and Develop more junior team members
  • Represent the company at conferences and industry events
