Purpose of the position

We are looking for a committed M&A  Analyst who would enjoy financial modelling and is passionate about the energy industry. The role provides an excellent opportunity to learn and grow within the Group.      

Main responsibilities and duties

• Participate in buy side cross border transactions
• Company valuation and deal structuring
• Assisting in the preparation of pitches
• Gathering data and creating financial model analyses
• Generating models for valuation metrics
• Building company forecast models
• Analyzing company performance on an absolute and relative basis

• Tier 1 university degree in finance/economics 
• 2-3 years' buyside experience in M&A gained within an energy company, investment banking, private equity or Big4 transaction services
• Experience in due diligence, excellent financial modelling skills 
• Experience in energy space is highly appreciated
• Fluent in English, Spanish and German skills are highly appreciated
• Strong research and strategic analysis skills
• Good data gathering and organizational skills and ability to meet short deadlines
• Attention to details and presentation skills
