Job Description
MAT is currently seeking a Sales Coordinator to play a vital role in supporting our sales division. This dynamic position involves collaborating closely with our National Account Management team, contributing to the development of line reviews, presentations, and product quotations. You will be responsible for maintaining key calendars, overseeing promotional schedules, managing & tracking customer compliance requirements, and participating in trade shows to promote our brands. Principle Responsibilities
- Collaborating with the National Sales Manager to effectively manage the MAT national rep network.
- Managing and Tracking Customer Program Compliance: Ensure that customers are in compliance with agreed-upon sales programs, promotional allowances, and pricing agreements. Monitor and track customer adherence to these programs, and report any deviations to the National Sales Manager.
- Recouping Fines and Penalties: Take the lead in identifying instances of non-compliance with customer programs and work with relevant departments to recoup fines and penalties as stipulated in the agreements. Collaborate with the finance and legal teams to enforce compliance and recover any associated costs.
- Processing and monitoring requests for product samples and images, working closely with Product Managers.
- Assisting Customer Service in resolving order fulfillment issues by liaising with the Sourcing Group and customers.
- Managing customer promotional allowances, rebates, and pricing programs.
- Assisting the National Sales Manager and reps at trade shows, including booth setup, teardown, and representing MAT as a Sales Representative when necessary.
- Working with the National Sales Managers to ensure accurate sales estimates by customer and maintaining monthly forecasts that include inventory and sales data.
- Generating reports for the sales and marketing departments, including inventory, sales, and purchasing data by customer.
- Ensuring timely reporting of customer interactions during the sales process through Salesforce or relevant CRM software, with regular follow-up and tracking.
- Continuously improving product knowledge through hands-on training as directed by managers, and, when necessary, training customer service and outside sales reps on product knowledge.
- Occasional travel to MAT sites and customer locations, up to 25% annually.
- Performing other tasks as assigned by management.

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 0-3 years’ work experience with consumer product companies
