Job Description
- Manage the commercial activities of the Refined Glycerin business to achieve sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction targets.
- Coordinate with global sales teams on volume allocation, sales plans, and commercial strategies.
- Monitor market trends, pricing movements, and business performance to identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare and analyze commercial reports, including sales performance, market updates, trading positions, and profitability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
- Ensure accurate contract management and compliance with agreed commercial terms.
- Collaborate with Operations, PPIC, Logistics, and Freight teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipment execution.
- Support freight planning and customer delivery schedules to ensure on-time performance.
- Resolve commercial issues proactively and provide excellent customer support.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration and contribute to business growth initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, International Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Economics, or related fields.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in commodities trading, export business, FMCG, food industry, or related sectors.
- Experience in containerized export operations is preferred.
- Exposure to palm oil, oleochemicals, glycerin, or related commodity industries will be an advantage.
- Strong English communication skills; Mandarin is an advantage.
- Strong commercial acumen, analytical mindset, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends, pricing, profitability, and P&L peformance.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proactive, results-oriented, and able to work with cross-functional and global teams.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications (Power BI, AI tools, or Microsoft Copilot)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced trading environment.
