Job Description
*** Please Note: This is not a remote position ***
The Purchase Coordinator is responsible for performing a variety of duties. This position must ensure loans are purchased in a timely manner and follow up on post purchase conditions with partners regularly. This position will also be responsible for data integrity of the LOS and MERS systems as well as internal and external customer service roles. This person will oversee MERS transfers and follow up with lenders to ensure MERS are transferred in a timely manner.
Primary Job Duties:
- Complete daily Purchase Advice in LOS for multiple channels which includes confirming pricing, reviewing data points in LOS for data integrity, and reviewing any charges to the lender
- Coordinate and communicate with various internal and external contacts to ensure loans are purchased accordingly
- Monitor MERS Transfers to ensure they are being completed in a timely Manner. Follow up with lenders should they not be complete
- Register daily Retail/Broker MERS on the MERS website.
- Assist with internal and external MERS Audits
Qualifications
Required Experience:
- Attention to detail, self-motivated, takes initiative
- Proficient in MS Office Excel and the ability to learn new software
- Detail-oriented individual with good organizational ability, with excellent communication skills
- The position is in the Paramus, NJ office, Monday through Friday and the hours are 8:30am – 5:30pm
- Overtime may be required
