We are leveraging data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to mitigate wildfires for our large utilities client. As a Software Test Lead,  you will oversee the design, development, and implementation of our test automation framework.  As a key stakeholder, you will be able to influence how we develop a product in a testable environment and guide the decisions that will have an impact on the future success of a product.

About the team

The Logic20/20 Digital Transformation team applies design thinking and next-gen technologies to solve our clients’ toughest business challenges. You’ll work side-by-side with architects, managers, and engineering consultants to gain a 360-degree perspective of the challenge at hand while contributing your unique perspective to develop innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and adoption of a test automation framework, improved release process, and overall testing plans
• Oversee and develop test cases, plans, and testing procedures
• Create automated tests for new and existing functionality
• Develop test plans and perform multiple types of testing including functional, system, end-to-end, load testing, performance testing, data integrity, smoke, regression, and ad hoc testing
• Regress and verify defects as needed, record test results, and provide metrics

• 7+ years of production experience in a Software Engineering, Test, Quality Assurance, or Deployment type role 
• Production experience as a test lead shaping testing culture and socializing best practices.
• 5+ years of experience with Selenium WebDriver and Cucumber
• Strong experience coding in Javascript, Python, and Java
• Experience with build automation technologies like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Excellent analytical skills to work with developers for troubleshooting and peer review
• Effective written and verbal communications skills
• Experience with Palantir Foundry is highly preferred
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science or related field

California State base compensation range: $140,000 - 160,000, DOE
