Salary Range:
$75-$100k, depending on experience.  

Location: 

  • Hybrid with the opportunity to work remotely a few days/week. 
  • The primary office is in South Tampa with an office in St. Petersburg.
  • Travel to various client locations within the Tampa Bay area as needed as well. 

Job Description

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

  • Navigate the Tax Landscape Across Diverse Clients: Review and craft federal and multi-state tax returns for an array of clients, including individuals, flow-throughs, corporations, and some trusts. Your tax expertise will touch every corner, ensuring clients thrive in a complex tax landscape.

  • Mentor Team Members: Provide hands-on guidance and mentorship to junior tax professionals. 

  • Craft Seamless Client Connections & Deliver Quality Results: Your role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records will be key to the success of the client work, ensuring that every decision and action is grounded in meticulous detail. 

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR 

  • Willing to foster a culture of teamwork and a desire to help others
  • 3+ years of experience in tax preparation and some review (in public accounting as a bonus) 
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related 
  • CPA preferred or desire to obtain
  • Some experience in reviewing the work of tax staff is a nice-to-have
  • A self-starter that will assist in the management of client relationships without direct supervision and have the ability to work independently
  • A highly organized individual that is able to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously, while meeting assigned deadlines
