This role is on our Learning product within Talent Enterprise, helping professionals build the skills they need to grow and succeed in their careers. You'll play a critical, founding role shaping large-scale, AI-powered enterprise experiences, bringing your creativity, leadership, and strategic input to develop new UI/UX paradigms. As an early member of our new Bengaluru learning design team, you'll set the design vision and craft bar for the team, guide and mentor other designers, and own complex, data-rich experiences end-to-end, partnering closely with engineering in-region and design and product partners both locally and in the US.

We’re looking for a designer who leads by connecting the dots between user insights, design patterns, and business goals. You will partner and collaborate closely with user research, UX writing, product management, engineering, and data science. Responsibilities 

  • Effectively communicate conceptual ideas, design rationale and the specifics of the user-centered design process 

  • Create and deliver vision by leveraging cross-functional partnerships 

  • Create holistic design solutions that address business, brand, and user requirements 

  • Work with web developers and engineers to deliver final products

  • Guide, mentor, and elevate other designers on the team, setting the craft bar for the group

  • Think holistically across the platform to deliver consistent, efficient, and intuitive enterprise experiences

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications 

  • MDes/BDes/ equivalent degree in graphic design, design, communication, human-computer interaction, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience 

  • 8+ years of experience participating in the complete product development lifecycle of web or software applications 

  • Skilled in design and prototyping tools like Figma 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Strong experience in delivering large-scale projects independently; Projects are forward-thinking and shape the future of the business; Subject matter expert who owns a business area 

  • Skilled at designing data-rich experiences — dashboards, reports, data visualizations, infographics, and data tables — that make complex information clear, credible, and actionable

  • Rapid AI Prototyping: Ability to use tools such as Copilot or Figma Make to translate ideas and designs into functional, code based prototypes. 

  • Proven ability to design for multiple user personas across a connected product experience

  • Track record of creating interaction patterns and systems that scale consistently across surfaces and modalities

  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders, consolidate work-streams 

  • Deep enterprise design experience with strong systems and platform thinking, and a track record of creating efficient, simple, and intuitive experiences at scale 

  • Demonstrated ability to drive strategy and vision for respective projects and teams 

  • Strong ability to deliver design solutions for unstructured problems that have many dependencies 

  • Excellent ability in visual communication 

  • Embraces ambiguity and can transform it into effective, actionable plans 

  • Experience leading, mentoring, and guiding other designers, and setting craft and quality standards for a team
