We’re hiring a Senior Manager of Product Design in our Growth organization to lead design for Network Growth and Notifications, a critical part of how members connect, engage, and stay active on LinkedIn. This role sits on the Growth leadership team and reports to the Senior Director of Product Design for Growth, Melanie Yencken.
You’ll own the core networking experience across LinkedIn, including how members build and maintain their professional graph, as well as the notifications systems that drive timely and relevant engagement at scale.
This is a player-coach role. You will lead a small, high-impact team while also contributing directly at a principal designer level. You’ll shape both near-term product improvements through experimentation and long-term vision for how networking evolves for the next generation of professionals.

What You’ll Do:
Own and shape a foundational part of LinkedIn’s product experience, leading design for Network Growth and Notifications
Reimagine how professionals build and maintain meaningful connections in a modern, AI-driven world
Evolve LinkedIn’s notifications ecosystem to be more relevant, intelligent, and valuable to members
Lead and develop a small team of designers, providing clear direction, coaching, and feedback
Operate as a player-coach, contributing directly to product strategy, vision, and high-impact design work
Drive growth through experimentation and data-informed decision making across engagement and retention
Define and drive a long-term vision for networking and engagement, navigating ambiguity and aligning cross-functional partners
Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Data Science to deliver high-quality, end-to-end experiences at scale
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in graphic design, design communication, human-computer interaction, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of 5+ years of experience managing and directing creative projects
Experience directing and guiding a team through a complete lifecycle of several launched projects
To be considered for this position, you must include your portfolio, website or other samples of work to assess your design skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in growth, experimentation, and data-informed product development
Strong track record as a player-coach, balancing leadership and hands-on design
Experience working on social, networked, or engagement-driven products
Proven ability to develop and grow high-performing design team
Experience shaping product vision and strategy in ambiguous spaces
Evidenced experience influencing other product areas across the organization; Drives strategy and vision across the business area
Exceptional ability to deliver design solutions that grow the business area and create new value for members/customers
Experience incorporating AI based new ways of working and leading your teams through this transition

The pay range for this role is $185,000 to $299,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
