Job Description

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
We are looking for a Sales Manager to join our Large Customer sales in LinkedIn Marketing Solutions, supporting our media business across Canada. In this role you will lead a team of Account Executives and Client Solutions Managers responsible for managing key client relationships and delivering impactful advertising solutions to our large customers to achieve revenue targets.
Your team will focus on uncovering incremental revenue opportunities, driving client investment growth, and collaborating with cross-functional partners. As a Sales Manager, you will develop the go-to-market strategy, capabilities and tactics to win B2B and B2C investment across a diverse portfolio. You will manage the day-to-day operations of your business, coach your sales team to create joint business plans with customers and partner with the leadership team and cross functional leaders.
You will also play a key role in growing the LinkedIn Ads brand and shaping how our capabilities are perceived in the Canadian market. Partnering closely with your peers, you will help establish LinkedIn as an innovative, evolving solution in an increasingly complex advertising landscape.
Responsibilities:
- Hire, lead, develop, coach and inspire a team of sellers to exceed business goals by creating strong revenue pipeline and delivering consistent customer value
- Demonstrated experience supporting employee performance through clear expectation setting, thoughtful feedback, goal setting, and growth planning.
- Support sales activities by attending and leading customer meetings and developing relationships with executive marketer and agency stakeholders
- Demonstrate strong general management capabilities including forecasting precision, operational rigor, communicating key business priorities and investment opportunities, and prioritizing cross-functional resources toward largest opportunities
- Partner closely with Measurement, Insights, Brand & Content strategy, Vertical Marketing, Product Marketing, and Operations Teams to build the go-to-market approach for the portfolio and relevant verticals within the LCN Canada business
- Influence Product, Research, and solutioning decisions in support of broader customer and business growth opportunities
- Create and strengthen a diverse team culture of accountability, collaboration, and belonging
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of work experience in media sales, client management roles, leading enterprise partnerships with larger, more complex customers or related industry in sales
- 3+ years of experience developing consultative selling strategies and coaching sales professionals that support large enterprise organizations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of people management experience leading a quota-carrying sales team responsible for achieving revenue targets.
- Consistent track record of achieving performance targets and driving sustainable business growth
- Subject matter expertise in marketing, advertising, media and their role in influencing buyer and market perception and purchase behaviors
- Demonstrated track record of active coaching and team development skills
- Proven ability and desire to be in the field with your team to understand and address customer challenges/opportunities and build independent stakeholder relationships
- Challenger mindset and design thinker to build new capabilities to help us scale in ways that enable us to fulfill our potential and maximize value
- Strong desire to get to the core of team members’ career aspirations and to help them realize their potential

The range of expected compensation for this position is CAD 264,000 to 314,000 (On Target Earnings), which includes potential compensation under non-discretionary annual performance bonus and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location, and may be subject to the terms and conditions of various applicable plans and policies. Actual compensation packages may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
