This role offers a hybrid work option, meaning you can both work from home and commute to a LinkedIn office, depending on what’s best for you and when it is important for your team to be together.  This role will be based in New York City or Chicago.

LinkedIn’s Sales Solutions team is dedicated to changing the world of sales through the use of Sales Navigator, our flagship product that connects and builds mutually beneficial relationships between buyers and sellers.

The Pilot Consulting Team is part of the LinkedIn Sales Solutions organization. The Pilot Consultant role works with our customers to help them maximize the value from their LinkedIn Sales Navigator pilot program by establishing strong foundations, in other words – we help them be successful with the platform they have purchased and ensure solutions become a mission critical, irreplaceable part of our customers’ sales and business development processes. In this role, you will partner closely with our new business sales team and customer sales team to execute pilot programs.  The Pilot Consultant for this role will work on pilots sold in our North American market, with occasional need to work on pilots in other regions globally.

Core Responsibilities

  • Deliver Customer Value through ensuring our customers are successful with LinkedIn Sales Navigator in terms of adoption, usage and engagement.    
  • Achieve Pilot KPI’s related to customer license activation, seller engagement & technical integrations on the LinkedIn Sales Navigator platform
  • Provide ongoing consultations, customer education, and best practice recommendations to ensure customers continue to meet agreed success criteria   
  • Build relationships with customers and internal partners to ensure customers maximize the value from LinkedIn Sales Navigator  
  • Develop customer ‘Success Plans’ to guide the roll out of LinkedIn Sales Navigator to utilize the product to its full capability during the pilot period, ensuring a successful handoff upon renewal   
  • Learn about the business, the team and LinkedIn’s platform, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and associated tools (e.g. Salesforce.com) to enable success in your role
  • Understand how to build and present a LinkedIn sales story using data and insights
  • Proactively forecast churn risk & develop mitigation plans to minimize churn within your customer base   
  • Provide input and ideas to internal teams to continuously improve our product, systems and resources   
  • Track and record customer activity in a timely manner in systems of record (e.g., CRM system)   
  • Support your colleagues and team by helping to foster a sense of inclusion and belonging and always striving to exhibit LinkedIn’s culture and values.   

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a Sales / Consulting / Implementation / Project Management / Customer Success / Onboarding role

  • Ability to develop strong relationships with customers, and cross-functional partners by anchoring on confidence, collaboration and shared vision of success.

  • Hands-on working experience in the implementation of SaaS applications 
  • High level of motivation, self-starter, excellent at follow-up, team-player with ability to deliver within defined timelines 
  • Experience working with multiple customers simultaneously and the ability to work with competing priorities 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to make decisions and solve problems collaboratively while working under pressure and against challenging timelines 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and technical aptitude 
  • Experience with virtual webinar technology strongly preferred 
  • Strong Microsoft Office capabilities: Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint 
  • Experience with Sales Navigator 
  • Understanding of sales technologies, SSO and CRM

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.  

The pay range for this role is $89,000 - $135,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
