The Technical Consultant is a key technical resource for our Customer Success Organization through the sales and implementation process. The Technical Consultant works closely with our Customer Success Managers, Account Directors, Integration Consultants and customers to provide technical assistance, and consulting to ensure smooth onboarding of customers on the LinkedIn Talent Solutions platform. Understanding how the LinkedIn Talent Solutions (Learning & Hiring) are built, structured, and secured and how to integrate solutions into the tool will be integral to this role. The ideal candidate will be a natural relationship builder with great communication, organization, and technical skills.

Responsibilities: 

  • Partnering with Account Directors, Account Executives and Customer Success to help convert pipeline opportunities by providing pre-sales support and product/integration expertise.  

  • Lead successful onboarding of customers on LinkedIn Learning Solutions, supporting with integration, authentication, and consulting efforts as needed. 

  • Conduct customer-facing consultations, acting as the strategic advisor on behalf of CSO (Customer Success Organization), while partnering with the account’s Customer Success Manager 

  • Develop and deliver presentations that explain our products and highlight specific product capabilities and integrations. 

  • Develop a deep understanding of LinkedIn’s “Hiring” & “Learning” product suite. 

  • Delight the customers by providing prescriptive consulting on solutions. 

  • Support Sales, and Customer Success Managers as the key technical resource to understand customer requirements and provide appropriate solutions.  

  • Lead and assess technically oriented customer conversations. 

  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, PMM (Product Marketing Manager), Engineering) to ensure that customer and field feedback is addressed, and competitive insights are surfaced. 

  • Keep up to date with market trends in the Talent Hiring and Learning & Development industry. 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: 

  • 6+ years' experience with technical products and projects, especially in a subscription-based business  

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience 

 Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Mandarin and English-speaking candidates preferred 

  • Will be added advantage if the candidate understands Hiring solutions and Learning Management Systems 

  • Experience and/or Familiarity with Multi Auth, SSO, xAPI, SQL, and integration technologies 

  • Familiarity with solution architecture, data field mapping, and SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol) configuration 

  • Proven experience working with senior executives and complex customers.  

  • Knowledge and prior use of case management and collaboration tools like Microsoft Dynamics  

  • Comfortable in client-facing environments and presentations. 

  • Excellent communication skills and presentation skills for both technical and business audiences 

  • Ability to do discovery with customers to learn about their strategic goals for their business. 

  • Keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple customer projects at once.
