Developers who build on LinkedIn’s API platform are an integral part of LinkedIn’s thriving partner ecosystem. We are looking for a Principal Product Manager to join our Product team and lead LinkedIn’s Developer Platform (http://developer.linkedin.com/). This exciting role gives you the opportunity to define a comprehensive strategy to scale our business using cutting edge technologies in APIs, real-time systems, and state-of-the-art tooling.
This role collaborates closely with engineering, design, data science, business development, business operations, product marketing, and other cross-functional teams to build a suite of products and features that help our developers to discover, develop, and operate on the LinkedIn developer platform and achieve their business objectives.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive developer platform strategy and roadmap
- Drive product planning, API design, and product requirements documents (PRDs) for new features and enhancements
- Build and nurture a thriving partner ecosystem
- Work cross-functionally to bring products features to market
- Understand and lead analyses of the competitive environment, customers and product metrics to determine the right set of features to drive engagement and usage on LinkedIn
- Clearly communicate product benefits to our users and internal stakeholders
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- BS degree in a technology-related field
- 10+ years of experience in a product management or equivalent role
Preferred Qualifications
- MS degree in a technology-related field
- Strong understanding of recent trends around enterprise-grade APIs, developer tools, and developer platforms.
- Experience building API platform products at scale with a demonstrated ability to drive product planning, development, and launches
- Knowledge of emerging technologies, marketplaces, and growth strategies
- Ability to manage and lead across highly cross-functional teams
- Ability to clearly articulate concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
