We are looking for a strategic and results-oriented marketing manager who will be responsible for implementing a robust marketing strategy for our Education vertical. This individual will report directly into the Director of Enterprise Marketing, North America. Their primary stakeholders will be the Education Sales leaders and various cross-functional partners. 

This individual will play an integral role in expanding LinkedIn’s value proposition, messaging, and positioning for the B2B technology vertical. They will build subject matter expertise across key sub-verticals including Traditional and Online Schools, Online Program Managers (OPMs) and Workforce Training. Candidates will ideally have experience in field marketing— including research, content, events, ad campaigns, sales enablement, and account-based marketing programs.

A successful candidate is an inspirational leader who is passionate about building strong business relationships and creating leverage across the organization. They will be interested in education marketers — understanding them, enabling them, and helping them achieve their marketing objectives. The key challenge in this role will be to effectively promote LinkedIn, the premiere platform for B2B marketing, to this B2C target audience. 

This individual will be an indispensable partner to sales, helping them identify new ways to deliver customer value and expand into new buying groups at our largest accounts. As part of the remit, this role will also manage agency partners and collaborate extensively with cross-functional partners such as Customer Science. They will deliver programs that resonate with our customers and help unlock consideration and spend.

Responsibilities

  • Own key relationships with Sales, Regional Marketers, Sales Ops, Product Marketing, Insights, and other stakeholders to support and influence the teams’ cross-functional work.

  • Execute key marketing programs and campaigns in partnership with Sales and other x-functional partners to deliver customer value and grow revenue. These go-to-market activities will include:

    • Thought Leadership:

      • Leverage market trends, research, internal resources and product information to tell stories to clients that present LinkedIn as a thought leader and marketing platform of choice. Deliver reports, narratives, blog posts, and campaigns that help B2C education marketers achieve their goals

    • Sales Enablement :

      • Drive scalable communication and education to Sales on content, research and marketing initiatives relevant to customers

    • Go-To-Markets:

      • Build, own and demonstrate creative execution of multi-channel marketing GTMs including digital ads, content writing, research development, events, PR, executive engagement, case studies, and more.

  • Regularly track and report performance of marketing programs to inform which efforts are delivering the most customer value and growing the business.

  • Understand and be able to articulate the overall business objectives of LinkedIn and its value proposition to the advertising community.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in B2B marketing roles

  • 2+ years people leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing capabilities, especially within a matrixed organization

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to clearly present ideas, updates and results to business partners on various levels

  • Alignment with LinkedIn’s values and culture, with a dedication to diversity, inclusion, belonging and equity

  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners and align across multiple shared objectives

  • Demonstrated knowledge of account based marketing (ABM), digital marketing, and content marketing

  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced and demanding environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing resources based on business impact

  • Aptitude toward working with sales and knowledge of sales processes and sales operations

The pay range for this role is [$102,000 to $165,000]. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
