LinkedIn Learning is seeking an Associate Production Project Manager to join our team, working on video-based content that transforms organizations and individual lives on a global scale. In this role,  you will be a project manager for instructional video courses in varying stages of development, working with instructors and partners to complete, review, and ingest industry-leading video instructional courses.  As a collaborative, results-driven communicator, the Associate Production Project Manager partners with production teams and vendors to ensure production priorities and outcomes are met on time and in scope.

Responsibilities:

  • Autonomously manage, evaluate, and schedule multiple projects, aligning to internal production priorities.
  • Track and coordinate the handoff of multimedia deliverables from external partners to internal cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and upload material to vendor storage folders. 
  • Evaluate instructional courses to align with internal guidelines and requirements.
  • Manage course deadlines, track scope issues, and proactively communicate changes with impacted stakeholders.
  • Communicate clearly with key internal stakeholders (editors, audio engineers, quality assurance, etc.) to ensure successful handoffs throughout the production process.
  • Maintain quality of—and continuity across—multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
  • Proactively anticipate, identify, and communicate potential roadblocks and risks. Work with both internal and external stakeholders to remove roadblocks and reduce risk.
  • Ensure data accuracy through all stages of the course production/project workflow.
  • Approach change with agility and positivity.
  • Resolve quality issues discovered after publication.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications:

  • 2+ years of work experience managing complex schedules and projects.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working in video content or media.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Excellent communication, writing, editing, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to schedule multiple tasks, timelines, and projects between multiple stakeholders effectively while hitting deadlines.
  • A proven track record managing schedules within a production and/or post-production environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with little supervision.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to adapt to various styles and personalities.
  • An understanding of production, post-production, and digital media.
  • Extremely organized with a relentless attention to detail.
  • Previous experience working with partners and external stakeholders.
  • Previous experience in remote roles.
  • A relentless curiosity when it comes to improving processes and pipelines.
  • Excellent software skills and experience with Mac, Windows, and Google Apps environments.
  • BA/BS degree or comparable experience in education, instructional design, communication, writing, liberal arts, or a related field.

As required by C.R.S. § 8-5-201(2): (Colorado only) The minimum pay for this role is $68,000/yr. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
