Job Description

We’re looking for a Sr. Compliance & Trust Manager to lead compliance & trust programs and projects by co-working with global cross-functional teams. Reporting to both Global TnS Lead and China PMO, be a part of the Trust & Safety team that is dedicated to protecting the member experience and building trust at LinkedIn by minimizing exposure to identified negative content and base profiles through model filtering, manual review and policy enforcement. You will make two-way influence to align objectives and strategies, processes and procedures with the global TnS team and China compliance related teams and stakeholders, work closely with Legal, Government Relationship team and ICP ( a content compliance operating team) to set strategy, drive actions and solve compliance problems such as violent, spam in China, work with Product and Engineering teams to develop solutions and enhance LinkedIn products to prevent abuse. Not only will you be hands-on in dealing with escalations, you will also be involved in providing expert insights and strategic advice on enforcement, training and policy.

Job Responsibilities

(Compliance & Trust profession)

  • Be accountable for China content compliance in Linkedin platform;

  • Align Trust and Safety objectives and strategies, processes and procedures with the global Trust and Safety team and China compliance related teams and stakeholders;

  • Partner with China and Global Legal to drive policy decisions and tool requests based on internal policy guidelines, China laws and regulations;

  • Be hands-on and able to understand compliance requirements and document specifications for delivery team; 

 

(Project Management profession)

  • Lead team to identify and resolve compliance and trust issues by closely work with global Trust & Safety, legal, content operations, product and engineering teams;

  • Drive the implementation for China specific compliance requirement, coordinate overall Compliance related projects, including collection of requirements, design, testing and implementation, and managing project deliverables from operational perspective;

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree or above;

  • Major in Computer Science or related profession;

  • 8 ~ 12 years of project/program management experience;

  • Have significant experience in Trust & Safety programs with knowledge of illegal content issue areas, deep understanding of China specific compliance requirements and political / cultural background;

  • Experience with managing and coordinating large scale projects or products, working closely with product and engineering teams as well as other partner teams to guarantee effective execution of product plans;

  • Strong interpersonal skills, and experience establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and multiple partners in different time zones;

  • Effective written and oral communication skills in both English and Mandarin
