Job Description
As a Talent Solutions Global Client Director, one of the most senior and strategic sales roles in our organisation, you will become a trusted adviser to a small group of LinkedIn’s largest and most complex global customers. You will advise both end-user and executive customers on industry trends, ensure existing products are being utilised and, ultimately, have customers invest in new LinkedIn solutions, which will benefit both the customer and LinkedIn.
This is a highly collaborative role which requires global vision, cultural sensitivity, and a passion for building strong and lasting relationships which allow our largest customers to be and to feel successful with LinkedIn products and solutions. You will take a consultative approach and deeply understand the client business.
Responsibilities:
Establish trusted executive level relationships with CHROs and other senior talent client leaders based on an ability to provide LinkedIn and industry insights, helping clients to transform their business
Understand where the global opportunity exists in each account and work closely with local account executives to coordinate a strategy for expanding the account
Build account plans for your named accounts to understand key decision makers, org charts, buying process, current investment, product utilisation and new revenue opportunity
Lead a cross-functional team of subject matter experts to support your accounts to drive and execute on the global sales strategy
Learn the entire suite of LinkedIn Talent Solutions (including learning, employee engagement, and media offerings), how they are used by our customers and make compelling recommendations for additional investments in LinkedIn
Grow the revenue from the named accounts, through upsell on renewals and by identifying and closing new multi-million-dollar transformational deals
Run a quarterly business review with all your key clients to understand their key company initiatives, review product utilisation, provide key updates on LinkedIn and our expanding portfolio of solutions, and sell solutions that will address key corporate initiatives
Plan out your activities and meetings to ensure you are focused on your largest opportunities
Use our CRM system every day for tracking activities and, most importantly, forecasting your business
Communicate with the Executive and the Product team about what you are hearing from the market and, when appropriate, influence the organisation to think about what we need to develop to stay competitive.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
15+ years of experience in senior sales roles
Experience managing global accounts in net new business and renewal environments
Experience selling to C-suite level within large organisations
Business fluency in French and English
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience selling to and influencing CHROs, CLOs and end-users (in the same sales cycle) in both individual and team sales environments
Proven success in selling brand new, disruptive technology
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Demonstrated ability to execute on account strategy plans, structure complex global deals, manage multiple territories and develop business to support growth
