As a SalesQ Intern, you will play a key role in driving new business for our Global Sales team by assisting with account plans, optimizing our sales process, analyzing industry trends and developing new business pitches. You will work closely with the Talent Solutions, Marketing Solutions or Sales Solutions team. Although the function of the internship will remain relatively similar across all teams, the responsibilities and projects will differ according to the specific team you are aligned with. This is a great opportunity for a student interested in becoming a social media sales professional.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategize with team members on how best to target and engage with senior-level executives at client companies to demonstrate how LinkedIn can drive revenue to their business
  • Identify and understand trends within prospect markets and industries
  • Help our senior account executives prepare for executive meetings with potential and existing clients
  • Create and develop strategic account plans for new business clients of our largest prospects
  • Work on a project conceptualizing and developing new product and/or services ideas for the team, scoping new avenues for broad leverage
  • Contact individual client users to enroll them in training
  • Assist with LinkedIn Talent Solutions efforts for our national client conference, Talent Connect
  • Support our management team in future planning

Basic Qualifications:

  • Actively pursuing a BA/BS or MBA degree
  • Availability for at least 1,5 year of Internship
  • Business fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Fluent Spanish
  • Experience in a marketing or sales role at a technology company
  • Experience with social media and SQL
  • Experience working with SalesForce.com or other CRM software
  • Expert knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Excellent communication, time management, organizational, interpersonal and phone skills
