Job Description
Link Solutions is seeking an IT Project Manager to join our team in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.
- Must be a US Citizen
- Non-remote (relocation incentive available)
- Must possess at least five (5) years of experience in a Project Management role.
- Must possess at least ten (10) years of experience within the US Army, Department of Defense (DoD), coalition, and/or government information technology entity.
As the IT Project Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our government IT systems. Job Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise and management to research, test, and plan implementation and integration of new information technologies.
- Application of information technology policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of planning, management,t and technical services for the organization.
- Responsible for the collection, analysis, and dissemination of program information generated across all projects.
- Recommend enhancements to the efficiency of IT systems through modification and application of emergent technologies.
- Provide technical expertise to develop and maintain processes to manage complex information technology (IT) requirements.
- Maintain SharePoint site architecture in areas of expertise to ensure near real-time coordination, review, and storage of documents.
- Provide support to enterprise architecture, data standardization, portfolio management, and asset management tasks.
- Develop reusable artifacts, templates, checklists, best practices, guidelines, and documentation that IT and non-IT staff can use to help their systems achieve IT standardization, interoperability, net centricity, and supportability.
- Participate in the organization’s Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and provide support regarding practical compliance with laws, regulations, waivers, and policy for IT acquisition, certification, and sustainment of net-centric, interoperable, and spectrum-dependent systems and devices.
- Lead, and/or participate in multidisciplinary, multicultural, geographically dispersed teams to help them implement best practices for IT engineering, acquisition, interoperability, data standardization, net readiness, data rights, and system integration.
- Meet with customers to gather requirements, analyze, review, and plan for the execution of customer requirements on both classified and unclassified Information Technology (IT) services.

Qualifications
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
- IAT-II approved baseline certification (CompTIA Security+ or equivalent) per DoD Directive 8140.03
- BA/BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Communication, Information Systems, or a related field or five (5+) years of IT-related experience.
- Must possess at least ten (10) years of experience within the US Army, Department of Defense (DoD), coalition, and/or government information technology entity.
- Computing environment certification or certificate of training relevant to job duties and approved by customer Information System Security Manager (ISSM) within 6 months of appointment
Physical Requirements:
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods. The position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have enough mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. This may include lifting weight up to thirty (30) pounds, as necessary.
