An enterprise client is seeking a Sr. Digital Marketing Specialist to elevate and expand its digital and social media presence in Japan. This role is critical in delivering compelling brand experiences to Japanese consumers—particularly younger audiences—through strategic digital initiatives, innovative storytelling, and seamless cross‑functional collaboration with regional and global teams.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Digital & Social Media Strategy
• Develop and execute digital and social media marketing programs that drive awareness and engagement for the company experiences among Japanese audiences.
• Create compelling digital content and social storytelling that resonates with younger consumer segments.

Brand & Campaign Execution
• Support the Japan Marketing Lead in strengthening the brand through impactful digital strategies and consumer-facing programs.
• Partner with global and regional marketing teams to deliver campaigns tailored for Japan.

Partner Marketing
• Plan and execute co‑marketing programs enabling partners to effectively communicate the value of the company technologies across:

Go-To-Market Leadership
• Lead GTM initiatives that bring compelling experiences to consumers and partners.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Build strong working relationships across company’s global marketing organization.

Agency Management
• Manage local digital, PR, and creative agencies to ensure high-quality execution of marketing programs and deliverables.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in B2B, B2B2C, or Consumer Marketing.
• Experience in industries such as Consumer Electronics, Mobile OEMs, Broadcast, or Cinema.
• Strong understanding of Japan’s CE, Mobile, OTT, and Cinema landscape.
• Proven ability to plan, lead, and execute collaborative marketing programs with partners.
• Demonstrated strategic thinking, creativity, and a digital‑first mindset.
• Experience working with cross‑functional global teams and managing external agencies.
• Strong relationship-building skills—both internal and external.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Japanese and English).
• Knowledge of emerging content delivery and entertainment technologies.
• MBA from a top-tier institution.
