Summary
As a Data and Analytics Specialist, you will provide services to an Upwork Managed Services client supporting the Digital Communications and Marketing team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines, developing dashboards, and delivering actionable insights from web, campaign, and platform data. This role is ideal for someone with strong expertise in digital analytics, data engineering, and visualization who can ensure reliable, end-to-end reporting across multiple tools and platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain data pipelines using APIs and Azure SQL to extract, clean, and refresh data for reporting.
Develop analytics reports and data visualizations to support Digital Communications initiatives.
Create, maintain, and enhance dashboards using Power BI, Adobe Analytics, and Google Analytics.
Implement and manage tracking for websites and campaigns across Adobe and Google Analytics.
Conduct regular data quality checks and troubleshoot tracking or pipeline issues.
Support basic machine learning use cases to help optimize campaign performance.
Provide day-to-day analytics support, including reporting, data extraction, and analysis.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data solutions.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
At least 5 years of experience in digital analytics and web data.
Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics (implementation and reporting).
Proficiency in Azure SQL, Python, and API-based data extraction.
Experience building dashboards and data models in Power BI.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Solid understanding of business objectives and how analytics supports decision-making.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with machine learning applications in marketing or analytics.
Familiarity with end-to-end customer journey analytics and multi-source data integration.
Experience working in fast-changing digital environments with evolving tools and platforms.
Additional Information
Working Hours
Available to work up to 40 hours per week.
Willing to work during European time zone hours, between 9AM - 5PM CET Time.
