Upwork has partnered with a leading enterprise organization to identify a Local Videographer / Video Production Assistant to support onsite studio filming activities. This opportunity is ideal for someone early in their video production career—such as a recent graduate or current student—who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a professional studio environment.
This is an onsite role based on production needs, offering flexible scheduling and the opportunity to collaborate with a broader remote production team.
Job Description
- Execute filming of product videos and promotional content in accordance with established production standards
- Operate and maintain cameras and lighting equipment with precision and technical proficiency
- Manage setup and breakdown of studio equipment, ensuring proper handling and storage protocols
- Capture footage according to provided scripts and shot lists, maintaining consistent quality standards
- Upload raw footage to the designated cloud video repository with accurate file organization and documentation
- Collaborate with remote editing teams to ensure seamless workflow and project delivery
- Maintain detailed records of all production activities and equipment usage
- Adhere to studio safety protocols and professional production standards at all times
Video Types Produced
- Product videos (approximately 4 minutes)
- Computer product demonstrations (approximately 15 minutes)
- Marketing and promotional content
Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency with video production equipment and studio operations
- Proven experience working in professional studio environments
- Formal training or documented experience in video production or filmmaking
- Strong organizational and attention-to-detail capabilities
- Personal computer with sufficient specifications for uploading and managing large video files
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional photography experience
- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere or comparable video editing software
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, or related discipline, or current enrollment in an accredited program

This position requires flexible availability based on production schedules, with work assignments ranging from multiple days per week to partial-day sessions as determined by project requirements.
