Company Description

The Legal Operations team is hiring a high-output contractor to manage the contract lifecycle and act as a human-in-the-loop reviewer alongside AI-assisted legal tools. This role will execute high-velocity reviews of inbound commercial agreements, draft and redline contract language for non-standard requests, triage intake queues, and make autonomous decisions about approvals vs. escalation to counsel. You will also help refine internal legal playbooks and prompt libraries to improve automated contract workflows. Enterprise experience strongly preferred.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Execute thorough reviews of inbound contracts (NDAs, vendor agreements, SaaS agreements, service agreements) using internal playbooks and AI-assisted review tools to identify deviations from standard legal thresholds.
    • Redline and revise contract language; draft bespoke clauses for non-standard requests to protect company interests.
    • Triage and prioritize high-volume contract intake from business teams; make autonomous decisions about approvals versus escalation to counsel.
    • Serve as the primary business-facing point of contact for routine contract questions and Terms of Service inquiries, providing clear, actionable guidance.
    • Maintain information flow between internal business partners, external parties, and counsel; accurately document decisions and next steps.
    • Contribute to and refine legal resources, playbooks, and prompt libraries to improve the accuracy and coverage of automated contract workflows.
    • Support ad hoc research and projects as needed.

    Qualifications

    Must-Have Skills

    • Demonstrated experience reviewing commercial contracts (e.g., NDAs, vendor agreements, SaaS or service contracts).
    • Experience redlining contracts (editing clauses, suggesting edits, tracking changes).
    • Ability to interpret contract language and assess contractual risk arising from proposed changes.
    • Experience handling vendor/service agreements in a business or tech environment.
    • Experience managing or operating within a high-volume contract intake or review queue.
    • Proven ability to work independently and manage workload with minimal supervision.
    • Sound judgment about when to approve vs. escalate a contract for counsel review.

    Nice-to-Have Skills

    • Experience using CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) platforms, especially those with AI features.
    • Experience with AI-assisted contract review tools or LLM-supported workflows.
    • Familiarity with SaaS and technology vendor contracts.
    • Experience contributing to playbooks, knowledge-bases, or prompt libraries for automated workflows.

    Required Tools & Platforms

    • No mandatory platform required for application. Familiarity with CLM tools and AI-assisted contract review platforms is preferred and should be listed on the candidate’s profile if available.

    Location, Time & Engagement

    • Remote — US / LATAM / APAC accepted.
    • Must provide a few hours of overlap with Ireland and/or Eastern Time (EST).
    • Contract engagement through March 31, 2027.
    • 40 hours/week (contractor).
