They are seeking a Media Product Manager to drive the evolution of the digital tools that power global newsrooms. These tools enable the planning, publishing, and distribution of short-form video, documentaries, and podcasts across multiple platforms.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about media innovation, fluent in both Arabic and English.

Job Description

  • Streamline and optimize editorial workflows across planning, publishing, and metadata management.
  • Own the full product lifecycle—from user discovery to feature delivery.
  • Collaborate with editorial and engineering teams to align priorities, timelines, and solutions.
  • Lead product training and onboarding for newsroom teams in Arabic and English.
  • Create clear documentation for both technical and editorial audiences.
  • Define and execute metadata strategies to improve discoverability and content consistency.
  • Gather and analyze user feedback to shape roadmap priorities.
  • Communicate product vision, trade-offs, and progress with transparency.

Qualifications

 

  • Bilingual: Fluent in Arabic (MSA preferred) and English, with strong communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and active listening abilities.
  • Technically fluent in cloud-based media systems, APIs, and content distribution workflows.
  • Strategic product thinker: balances MVP delivery with long-term scalability.
  • Confident decision-maker, able to prioritize effectively and provide clear rationale.
  • Collaborative and comfortable working across editorial and technical teams.
  • Background in editorial or newsroom environments (e.g., writer, editor, producer).
  • Hands-on experience with collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Airtable, or Monday.com.
  • Familiarity with prompt engineering and large language models (LLMs).
  • Knowledge of A/B testing, user-centered design principles, and Agile practices.

Additional Information

  • Fully remote role.

  • Candidates must be available for 8-hour shifts, with partial overlap between 08:00–12:00 EST
