Job Description

Design and Delivery and Deployment

  • Lead the design, development and deployment of digital applications and solutions across the APAC region, focusing on Automation, AI, BI and reporting factory and digital business applications. Solutions include on-the-shelf or custom development specific for APAC region or the deployment of solutions delivered by Group DDTech teams.
  • Translate business requirements from regional functions and country teams into scalable digital solutions that support operational efficiency and decision making.
  • Oversee the deployment of solutions delivered by the Automation & AI team, Reporting Factory (BI & Analytics) and IT project teams.
  • Ensure that all application designs and implementations comply with Group architecture and bedrock guidelines, cybersecurity policies, AI governance and enterprise standards defined by HQ.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders and DDTech Referents in each country to identify opportunities for process digitalisation and automation.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure and cybersecurity teams to ensure new solutions are properly integrated into the existing IT landscape.

Strategy & APAC digital portfolio management

 

  • Define and drive the APAC applications and digital solutions roadmap, aligned with both regional business priorities and the global IT and digital strategy defined by HQ.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage automation, analytics and digital technologies to improve productivity, transparency and operational performance across APAC entities.
  • Ensure the regional application landscape remains sustainable, scalable and well integrated with core enterprise systems.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the APAC Reporting Factory capabilities, supporting the organisation’s data driven transformation.
  • Manage the lifecycle of digital solutions, including planning, deployment, maintenance, optimisation and retirement where necessary.
  • Collaborate with Group DDTech teams when introducing new platforms or tools to ensure alignment with global technology standards and avoid duplication of solutions.

Team Management

 

  • Lead and develop the Applications and Digital Solutions team, including the Automation & AI Factory, Reporting Factory (BI & Analytics) and project management resources within the APAC shared service centre.
  • Provide direction, mentoring and performance management to ensure the team delivers high quality and business relevant solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong collaboration between the regional shared service centre, country IT teams and Group DDTech teams.
  • Allocate resources effectively across projects and initiatives to ensure timely delivery of regional priorities.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team.

Standards and Procedures

 

  • Establish and maintain best practices, frameworks and operating procedures for application development, automation, reporting and project delivery. Ensure these procedures and practices are in line with Group DDTech Digital playbook.
  • Ensure all digital solutions follow Group governance models, security requirements and compliance policies.
  • Standardise development methodologies for Automation, AI, BI analytics solutions and digital applications across APAC and in accordance with Group Digital playbook and procedures.
  • Promote the adoption of common tools, reusable components and shared platforms to maximise efficiency and consistency.
  • Work with Group DDTech to adopt or adapt global frameworks while ensuring they remain practical for the APAC operational environment.

Monitoring and Reporting

  • Monitor the performance, stability and utilisation of applications and digital solutions deployed across the region.
  • Track project delivery, digital adoption, automation impact and reporting capabilities to ensure measurable business value.
  • Establish KPIs for automation, analytics delivery and project execution within the shared service organisation.
  • Provide regular updates to APAC leadership and HQ stakeholders on project progress, digital initiatives and operational performance.
  • Ensure continuous improvement by reviewing solution effectiveness and identifying opportunities for optimisation.

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related discipline.
  • A Master’s degree in Information Systems, Data Science or Digital Transformation is an advantage.
  • Relevant professional certifications in project management, automation, data analytics or enterprise applications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, AI or RPA related certifications) are desirable.


Professional Experience

  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in IT, digital solutions or enterprise application management, preferably within a regional or multinational environment.
  • Proven experience in leading application development, automation initiatives and digital transformation projects.
  • Strong experience in Automation and AI, Business Intelligence (BI) and analytics platforms including managing end-to-end solution delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience in establishing or managing shared service teams, digital delivery centres or reporting factories is highly desirable.
  • Solid background in IT project management, including managing multiple concurrent projects and working with cross functional stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a regional role across multiple countries, with the ability to balance regional priorities while aligning with global IT standards and governance.
  • Familiarity with data governance practices, analytics platforms and enterprise integration concepts is advantageous.

Technical and Leadership Competencies

  • Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture, automation frameworks and analytics ecosystems.
  • Experience managing teams responsible for Automation & AI development, BI/reporting delivery and digital application support.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into practical digital solutions that deliver measurable business value.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior business leaders, country teams and global IT stakeholders.
  • Experience working within global IT governance frameworks, ensuring regional initiatives remain aligned with HQ technology strategies and standards.
  • Strong communication, collaboration and change management capabilities in a multicultural regional environment.

Additional Information

General Safety & Health Responsibilities:

  • Comply with local governmental HSE regulations, with Lesaffre fundamental principles and apply the safety Policy,
  • Participate in entity safety activities and always show best examples (Rules application, PPE wearing, perform safety visits, accident analysis, safety committees…),
  • Participate actively in the risk assessment of own’s job area
  • Follow the safety action plan of own perimeter,
  • Make safety rules in your perimeter, communicate it, make sure your team understands and applied them,
  • Start all meetings (from 8 persons minimum) by a safety contact,
  • Encourage safe acts and discourage each time you see unsafe acts,
  • Report unsafe conditions / acts and near misses to the managers,
  • Report within 12 hours all recordable accidents to the next level of management,
  • Report each month all recordable accidents and first aids happened in your perimeter,
  • Participate in the target-setting process for the safety KPIs,
  • Be a part of recognition & sanction program.

The person in charge of the entity projects is responsible for:

  • Take into consideration safety requirements in the design stage of any new design/modifications and include safety specifications on related equipment before purchasing,
  • During technical modification, make sure end user knows the risk and can operate in total control,
  • In each construction contract, integrate safety aspect into specifications,
  • When choosing contractors, review its Safety experience and integrate safety requirements (starting with local government requirements) into the contract, Consider HSE in project meetings,
  • Conduct HSE inspections/audits/meetings during the construction phase
  • Ensure the technical and regulatory requirements before any production / operational phase
