Job Description

Then you might be the PMO Coordinator we are searching for to join Lemay’s Project Management Office.

What you will accomplish with us:  

  • Ensure that all Lemay projects respect the Lemay PMO’s standards; 
  • Monitor project compliance with Global Project Life Cycle and business rules; 
  • Validate initial project planning with project managers and directors;  
  • Support project data entry using Lemay’s project management tools; 
  • Promote the adoption of project management tools; 
  • Facilitate the implementation of a standard PM methodology; 
  • Monitor project’s health indicators (CPI, SPI, margin variation, ratios) and report any issues, deviations and risks throughout the project; 
  • Ensure that a recovery action plan is put in place for review by the PMO to address project variance and mitigate risk;  
  • Support monthly project review meeting and ensure lessons learned are shared with the PMO; 
  • Support and collaborate with Project Managers to ensure a healthy project management; 
  • Support the Market/Region Directors; 
  • Participate in PMO initiatives related to strategy implementation and continuous improvement. 
  • Support Project Managers and Projects Directors, on project documentation, follow up on scope. 
  • Contribute for constant support on schedules, allocations updates. 
  • Organize, and document project meetings 
  • Facilitate communications with stakeholders (internal and external) by providing admin support and data entry.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, administration or architecture. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in a field related to architecture (interior design, urbanism, urban planning, engineering or construction). 
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 (strong asset). 
  • PMP certification or graduate studies in project management (strong asset). 
  • Long-term vision & passion for continuous improvement. 
  • Team spirit, ability to rally stakeholders around business decisions. 
  • Ability to mobilize leadership. 
  • Critical thinking & rigour. 
  • Excellent communication skills in both French & English as you’ll have to interact with different parties across Canada.
