- Full-time

Company Description
A sustainable, profitable, and enjoyable future for dairy farmers by combining robotics, engineering, and agricultural expertise. That is what we believe in.
It all started in 1948 with the dream of two brothers in Maassluis. Since then, we have grown into an innovative leader in automated systems for dairy farmers worldwide. With more than 2,800 specialized professionals, we continuously work on new agricultural revolutions. We still do this from our Campus in Maassluis, the building with the highest achievable sustainability performance in the Netherlands, while operating globally. All with one goal: to make dairy farming attractive for the next generation as well.
Job Description
You work at the heart of Lely’s global technical support organization, where technology, service and operations come together. From Lely Campus in Maassluis, you take ownership of complex technical topics and translate them into structural improvements across our global network.
As a Technical Service Support Engineer within the Manure team, you work from headquarters and support colleagues across the world. You are not working on machines on farms. Instead, you coordinate and guide the resolution of complex technical challenges, while strengthening how we support our products globally.
You support the Lely Clusters, our regional organizations across the world, who in turn support Lely Centers and farmers locally. In this position, you act as a key connector between the field, product development and internal stakeholders, ensuring that insights from daily farm operations are translated into improvements in products, processes and support.
Together with your team, you contribute to systems such as the Discovery Scraper, the Discovery Collector and the N-Capture solution within Lely Sphere, helping to improve animal welfare, farm efficiency and sustainability.
As part of the team, you participate in the 24/7 on-call support rotation, ensuring continuous support for our global network.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating the resolution of complex technical issues, supporting Lely Clusters and ensuring effective follow-up.
- Analyzing recurring issues and translating them into structural improvements together with Product Development and Product Management.
- Acting as a key connector between field insights, product teams and internal stakeholders.
- Driving continuous improvement by identifying patterns in data and initiating process or product optimizations.
- Contributing to knowledge development by improving training materials, documentation and knowledge sharing.
- Validating new solutions and improvements to ensure they meet Lely quality and reliability standards.
Qualifications
You enjoy bringing structure to complex technical environments and feel comfortable taking ownership in an international context. You understand how systems work and know how to translate technical challenges into sustainable improvements.
Additionally, you bring the following:
- A completed HBO or WO degree, for example in Technical Business Administration or a similar field
- Experience in a technical service or support environment
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex problems into structured improvements
- The ability to create overview, set priorities and coordinate across different stakeholders
- Affinity with technical systems and processes
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams and regions
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written, and willingness to learn Dutch over time
Even if you do not meet every requirement yet, we encourage you to apply. We believe that motivation and growth potential are just as important as experience.
