Job Description
Our Joint Command Support Environment (JCSE) is a complex system of systems used to plan, monitor and conduct military campaigns, operations, joint exercises and other activities to meet Australia’s national objectives.
Our Canberra-based team ensures that critical information reaches the right people at the right time, directly impacting ground operations.
This project requires the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and, ideally, have a current NV-2 level security clearance.
We currently have three positions available. One vacancy is permanent, while the remaining will be offered on a 12-month maximum-term contract.
Working together with our Leidos Team and the customer, this position will
- Support the secure and effective delivery of ICT systems to the Department Of Defence.
- Be responsible for system security monitoring, accreditation lifecycle activities, security reporting, security verification and validation
- Ensure system compliance with Commonwealth security standards and privacy and secrecy requirements.
- Provide leadership in creating and maintaining a secure ICT environment across various locations.
- Lead identification, implementation and review of the full range of security measures to minimise risk to Australian Government assets.
- Provide security guidance to other teams within the organisation to maintain system integrity.
Qualifications
Ideally, this person will have:
- 3-5 years IT experience in Systems Administration or Cyber Security
- Experience in Cyber Security or an interest in transferring to the Cyber Security field
- Experience with the ISM and PSPF frameworks
- An understanding of cyber security principles, theories and concepts
Leidos will be shutting down from the end of Friday, the 20th of December 2024, and returning on Monday, the 6th of January 2025. Reviewing applications may only occur after the return date.
