Job Description

Our Procurement Team are seeking a highly motivated Material Planner to support the sourcing and vendor management function. 

Reporting to the Procurement Manager or SCM Shared Services Lead, your duties will include;

  • Work with stakeholders & SCM Team members to ensure supply of goods, materials & services
  • Lead generation of Purchase Requests in line with Stakeholder requirements
  • Process Purchase Card orders & payments to support business needs
  • Compile and distribute procurement reports..
  • Process Non-PO Payments via the Procure-2-Pay system.
  • Undertake data reconciliations and report findings.
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Provide administrative support to the Procurement and Commercial Management (SCM) Teams.
  • Provide support to the SLICS Manager
  • Provide support to the Contracts Admin function including reporting
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships will internal & external stakeholders

Qualifications

About you and what you'll bring 

You're a self motivated and collaborative team member who thrives in a busy environment. You have strong interpersonal skills and excel in building new relationships. Ideally you bring experience in compilation and distribution of Procurement Reports and data reconciliations.  Experience in processing Non-PO Payments via the Procure-2-Pay system would be highly advantageous. You're not afraid of a challenge and will proactively help us develop the maturity of the SCM Shared Services function. 

  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail. 
  • High level of initiative in developing and improving systems and procedures.
  • Ability to manage multiple, concurrent tasks, which have competing demands
  • Ability to consistently produce excellent results in a complex environment
