Job Description
We have two brand new opportunities within Legal & General Investment Management for Technical Project Managers, covering Technical Operations projects, with a focus on Application upgrades and related infrastructure for various business areas.
The roles require individuals with strong attention to detail, the ability to influence change and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
These projects will often be part of overall Maintenance related programmes that will interact with Application and Development Support teams to address Technical Debt, Currency and Security Improvements along with Enhancements.
The role is identified as a senior resource within a Technical Operations Project team requiring vendor and third-party engagement in addition to stakeholder management and communications.
This would be as part of a project or service deliverable, where liaison with business managers and stakeholders to ensure the service and/or deliverable provided is fit for purpose.
Regular project reporting will be required including written monthly status reports and governance packs.
Qualifications
- Experienced in manging the full project lifecycle, from initiation through to implementation
- Will be required to drive out and document project requirements, high level solution and test approach, planning and managing all phases of the project
- Proactive management of project finances
- Experience working in a matrix managed environment
- Experience working with 3rd Party vendors and suppliers
